The Devon AI Summit returns for its second year on Thursday 5 November, bringing businesses, researchers and experts from across Devon and the South West together at Sandy Park, Exeter.
Following the success of last year’s event, the 2026 summit will explore how artificial intelligence is already being used by organisations, the lessons businesses are learning and the practical opportunities and challenges it presents.
With AI continuing to develop at pace, the event will cut through the hype to focus on what businesses need to know now. From how AI is already being used across different sectors to the lessons organisations are learning along the way, the programme will provide practical insight for businesses at every stage of AI adoption.

Practical workshops
Delegates will also be able to take part in workshops exploring some of the practical questions surrounding AI adoption. Workshops will be hosted by The University of Exeter, Amazon Web Services, and South West AI Solutions
There will also be opportunities throughout the day to meet and connect with businesses, researchers and colleagues from across Devon, share experiences and build new connections.
The focus throughout will be on useful conversations: what’s changing, what’s working and how businesses can make informed decisions about where AI can add genuine value.
This event forms part of the ongoing partnership work between the University of Exeter and Devon County Council who are working closely together to support the rapidly evolving skills needs of Devon’s workforce through their groundbreaking Civic University Agreement.
